Are you looking to buy Decent Espresso Filter3 Basket (includes 100pcs Filter Paper) in Australia?

Scott Raos Filter 3.0 Decent Espresso Basket is here at last!

We recommend to use Weber Workshops EPF 58mm filter paper once you run out of the included papers.

We also recommend the Loveramics | Brewers | Belly Glass Jug

Key Features:

  • High-Quality Construction: The Filter3 basket is compatible with all 58mm espresso machines that can deliver very low flow rates, such as 2 ml/s, ensuring perfect filter coffee extraction.
  • Bespoke Filters Included: Each basket comes with 100 bespoke filters made from the same paper as the NextLevel Pulsar filters, known for their unique combination of low flow resistance and high fines-carrying capacity.
  • Versatile Use: While designed for the Decent Espresso machine, the Filter3 basket can be used with any compatible machine capable of delivering the necessary flow rates.
  • Instructions for Optimal Use: Update your de1app to the latest version, unhide and select the 'filter3' profile, and follow the specific instructions for adjusting flow rates to achieve the desired 360ml of water output.

Filter3 Basket Decent Espresso Machine Instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Update your de1app to the latest version.
    • Unhide the 'filter3' profile and select it.
    • Run the entire profile without a portafilter to ensure you have about 360ml of water at the end.
    • if you have too much water (it is likely) edit the Step (1a, 1b, 2, 3)
to have a slightly slower flow rate.  The default is 1.3ml/s, but for
instance, 1.1 ml/s might be better for you.  Re-run the filter3 profile
without a portafilter, and try to get within 30ml of 360 ml total.
    • if your final volume is close to the desired amount, only edit the final
      (Step 3) flow rate.
  2. Brewing:

    • Center the filter paper in the bottom of the Filter3 basket and wet it with flush water.
    • Add 22 grams of coffee and shake to level the grounds.
    • Gently lock the portafilter in place.
    • Place a cup, tap the COFFEE icon on the Group Head to start.
    • Optional: 30 seconds into the extraction, unlock the portafilter,
swirl and check for 2cm-4cm of water on the grounds.
    • Adjust the grind if necessary for next time: finer if you saw not enough water, coarser if there was too much water on the grounds.  If water comes out of the holes at the top of the basket, your grind is too fine.

Note: Some baskets may have minor blemishes or scratches, which are purely cosmetic and do not affect performance. No refunds will be given for these minor imperfections.
